Ambassador of this Mission met with presidents of the Chamber of Commerce in the countries of Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras. Those official engagements helped to make important trade-related contacts. As a result, several Sri Lankan companies were introduced to the chambers of these countries.

Sri Lanka’s Independence Day Reception followed by a dinner was held in Havana. H.E. Mrs. Marta Gonzalez, Minister (Council of Ministers of Cuba) was the Chief Guest. H.E.
