Suffrage Mass in Cuba for the victims of the terrorist attacks on the Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka
A Special Suffrage Mass was conducted by the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Havana together with the Apostolic Nunciature in Cuba at La Habana’s Cathedral on 28th April 2019. The Mass was organized with the guidance and blessings of His Excellency Monsignor Juan de la Caridad García Rodríguez – Archbishop of Havana, and presided over by His Excellency Monsignor Giorgo Lingua – Apostolic Nuncio in Cuba, with the participation of Reverend Father Yosvany Carbajal, Chief Priest of the Havana Cathedral.
H.E. Mr. Alpidio Alonso Grau, Minister of Culture, H.E. Mrs. Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mrs. Caridad Diego Bello, Head of the Bureau for Religious Affairs – Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba joined the gathering with Government officials, Diplomatic Corps, Sri Lankan community, Cubans and many other nationals in Cuba.
