H.E. the Ambassador, Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne (Retd.) donated a Sinhalese version of the book “My life Fidel Castro” at a simple ceremony held at the Fidel Castro Center in Havana on 16 October 2024. The book was written by Ignacio Ramonet and translated by Abaya Hewawasam. 

Dr. René González Barrios Director of the Fidel Castro Center received the book and stated the book will be a valuable addition to the collection of books of biography of Fidel Castro in several languages. Donation of this book is a testimony of Sri Lanka´s solidarity with the Cuban people.
