H.E. Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne (Retd.), Ambassador of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Cuba, had a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Maria del Carmen Orellana, First Vice Minister of Tourism of Cuba.
During the meeting held with the Honorable Vice Minister, the commitment to continue strengthening bilateral ties between both nations and to identify opportunities for mutual benefit in the Tourism sector was expressed.
Cuba and Sri Lanka, two friendly nations, despite the distance, are united by their similarity as Islands, and therefore, the strategic importance of the development of tourism as an important source of income.
