H.E. the Ambassador, Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne attended the inauguration of the Sri Lankan Wall at the Latin America School of Medicine (ELAM), an initiative promoted by the Sri Lankan students of this prestigious medical school with courtesy of the Sri Lankan Embassy.
The inauguration was attended by the Rector of ELAM, Ms. Yoandra Muros, the international relations specialist, Ms. Juana M de la Llana Avila, and Sri Lankan students.
Walls have been allocated for students of different nationalities to print and display the interests of their countries.
The artistic creation of this Wall is a faithful replica of the original photo given to the artist and demonstrates the multicultural aspects of Sri Lanka.
The Sri Lankan Wall identifies Sri Lankan students, feeling that they are a little closer to home. This Wall will also represent future generations of Sri Lankan students at ELAM
