Ambassador of this Mission met with presidents of the Chamber of Commerce in the countries of Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Honduras. Sri Lanka’s Independence Day Reception followed by a dinner was held in Havana. H.E. Mrs. Marta Gonzalez, Minister (Council of Ministers of Cuba) was the Chief Guest. H.E. Mrs. Josefina Vidal, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs was the Guest of Honour. Cuban singer Laura Valdivia sang Sri Lankan songs to entertain the Crowd.
